I served 6 years in the US Navy as an Ears, Nose, and Throat surgical technologist before studying photography at Nashville State Community College. I graduated in May 2011 with honors (Summa Cum Laude).

I won a silver ADDY Award in February 2011 for the Coke photograph located in the "Consumer Me" project.
